About MSINGI LMS
MSINGI LMS is a TechSphere Ltd product — owned, developed, managed and maintained in-house by our team. It is a learning management system built to support universities, colleges, training institutions, corporate organizations and other institutions in delivering, managing and monitoring online learning. As a new product in the Kenyan market, MSINGI LMS is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented professional to support its market entry, client acquisition, implementation and growth.
Position Summary
The Sales and Marketing Officer will be responsible for promoting and selling MSINGI LMS, identifying prospective clients and building long-term relationships with institutions. The successful candidate will also conduct product demonstrations, coordinate client projects, support LMS implementation and training, and gather market feedback to guide product improvement.
The role requires a confident communicator who understands software sales within the Kenyan market and can comfortably engage decision-makers, deliver presentations and represent the company at meetings, conferences and exhibitions.
Key Responsibilities
Sales and Business Development
- Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies for MSINGI LMS.
- Identify and pursue sales opportunities among universities, colleges, training institutions, corporate organizations, government agencies and other potential clients.
- Generate, qualify and follow up sales leads to achieve agreed targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.
- Prepare proposals, quotations, presentations and other sales materials.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations for prospective clients.
- Represent MSINGI LMS at exhibitions, conferences, workshops and networking events.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, sales activities and the sales pipeline.
- Monitor competitors, market conditions and emerging opportunities in Kenya’s education technology sector.
Client and Project Management
- Coordinate with clients during project planning, implementation and support.
- Manage client projects and ensure agreed deliverables are completed within the required timelines.
- Coordinate the implementation and support of the Learning Management System.
- Facilitate online and in-person training for trainers, administrators and other system users.
- Support client onboarding and encourage effective adoption of the platform.
- Manage time, people and resources allocated to client projects.
- Track customer satisfaction, collect feedback and coordinate the resolution of client concerns.
- Reach out to students, trainers and other users to gather feedback on their experience with the system.
Product and Market Development
- Research emerging trends, technologies and market requirements relevant to learning management systems.
- Gather and document client requirements to support continuous product improvement.
- Prepare regular sales, marketing, project implementation and customer feedback reports for management.
- Monitor and support MSINGI LMS social media platforms and digital marketing activities.
- Work with the technical and management teams to align product capabilities with client needs.
- Support the implementation of other company programmes and initiatives as assigned.
Academic Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in any field from a recognized institution.
- A degree in Marketing, Sales, Business Administration, Information Technology, Education Technology or a related field will be highly preferred.
- Relevant professional training or certification in sales, digital marketing, project management or information technology will be an added advantage.
Experience
- At least one year of experience in the sales or marketing of software solutions within the Kenyan market.
- Experience selling SaaS products, learning management systems or other education technology solutions will be highly preferred.
- Experience engaging universities, colleges, training institutions, corporate organizations or government agencies will be an added advantage.
- Previous experience conducting software demonstrations, client presentations, user training or system implementation is desirable.

- Willingness to travel and attend client meetings, exhibitions and industry events when required.
- Basic knowledge of learning management systems and digital learning will be an added advantage.

Position Summary
TechSphere Ltd is seeking two Software Developer Interns to join our engineering team. The successful candidates will work alongside experienced developers to design, build, test and maintain web applications and back-end services, gaining hands-on experience across the full development stack.
The role suits a self-driven developer who is comfortable working with modern JavaScript frameworks, building and consuming APIs, and deploying applications to the cloud. The interns will contribute to live projects, collaborate with the wider team and take part in the day-to-day work of shipping quality software. This is a fully remote, paid internship, and we are looking for candidates who are ready to begin immediately.
Key Responsibilities
Software Development
- Develop, test and maintain responsive front-end interfaces using React and Next.js.
- Build and maintain back-end services and applications using Python and FastAPI.
- Write clean, well-structured and maintainable code following team standards and best practices.
- Debug, troubleshoot and resolve issues across the front-end and back-end.
- Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback to improve code quality.
APIs and Integration
- Design, build and consume RESTful APIs to support application features.
- Integrate third-party services and APIs into TechSphere products.
- Ensure secure, efficient and reliable communication between systems.
Cloud and Deployment
- Work with cloud infrastructure to deploy, run and monitor applications.
- Support the setup, configuration and maintenance of cloud-based environments.
- Contribute to keeping applications stable, performant and scalable.
Collaboration and Delivery
- Work closely with developers, designers and the management team to deliver agreed features on time.
- Take part in planning discussions, stand-ups and progress updates.
- Document work, features and technical decisions clearly.
- Support other development tasks and company initiatives as assigned.
Academic Qualifications
- Pursuing or having completed a diploma or degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related field.
- Relevant professional training, certification or self-taught proficiency in software development will be an added advantage.
Experience
- Demonstrable experience building applications with React and Next.js.
- Demonstrable experience building back-end services with Python and FastAPI.
- Practical experience working with APIs and cloud infrastructure.
- Personal projects, previous internships, open-source contributions or academic projects that show the above skills are highly encouraged (please share your GitHub profile).
